Wedding Receptions and other Special Events
The Southside has a capacity of 375 people and is a great place to host your special event. Donny and Matt can help you with everything from decorating to DJs.
While we can serve almost anything at an event, some of our specialties include:
- Bourbon pork
- Orange chicken
- Lemon pepper chicken on a bed of rice
- Prime rib
Food tasting on request! We can help you decide what to serve by preparing several meals of your choice for you to taste.
We have limited decorations available for events, but you are welcome to bring in your own. You will be able to access the Southside the day before your event to decorate and set up.
We have a DJ list available and many suggestions to make your event special. Call Donny or Matt at 320-589-2270 for booking and rate information.
The Old No. 1 Bus
Because we want your special events to have safe and happy endings, we added a bus service in 2004 to act as a "sober cab." Our limousine-style bus seats 21 and has been a popular addition to the Old No. 1.
The bus service comes free of charge with every booked event in the Southside Reception Hall and Conference Center.
We can pick up Wedding parties at local churches, and drive guests back to local hotels. If you wish to use the bus service, make sure to request it when you book your event.
